Total Care Direct - The Staff
At Total Care Direct we understand that well trained, happy and motivated carers are key to delivering a high standard of service. To support our team we hold regular meetings, quarterly supervisions and annual appraisals. Through this process we ensure that our staff are up to date with all training requirements, share and discuss experiences and are offered additional opportunities to compliment and strengthen their existing training. All staff are encouraged to study for an NVQ in care within their first year of employment.
We ensure that our staff receives full in house training from a fully qualified training manager and mentor before commencing work, in order to comply with the National Skills for Care and Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulations and requirements, and are CRB and SOVA checked through the criminal records bureau.
Our carers will arrive in full uniform and display identification badges with the Total Care Direct logo. They also carry personal protective equipment for use, if necessary during their visits.
