Home Care Essex
Service Users
Our care services are delivered in partnership with care users, relatives and other organisations that may be involved with the service user. By working as a team with all parties involved, we aim to create a circle of respect and companionship between service users, other care organisations and ourselves.
Social Services
We work very closely with a number of the care placement teams within Essex County Council, when they are considering referral for potential service users.
In these situations, we are contracted by the county council to provide care to the service user. We still uphold our philosophy of communicating clearly with all parties involved and everyone involved with the care of the individual receives a copy of the risk assessment and service contract.
Private Contracts
Individuals can also contact us direct in order to arrange their own personal care plan or to arrange for the care of sons, daughters, mums, dads or grandparents.
Direct/ILA
Some services users may be entitled to receive funding for their care through the direct payments scheme. This differs to provision of care under social services in that individuals are given the choice over how to spend any allocated funding and have the opportunity to manage their own payments.
For more information and assistance with establishing whether you are eligible for funding please contact our offices on 01376 529468.
Residential Care Homes
Through our bank of highly trained staff, we are able to offer support to residential care homes when they experience staff shortages due to sickness or absence. We can act quickly and effectively upon request to help ensure there is no disruption to the care delivered to residents.
Other organisations
We work with a wide collection of other organisations and individuals, including but not limited to:
- District nurses
- Palliative Care teams
- Dementia teams
- Alzheimer’s teams
- Hospices
- Age Concern
